TC80: Advanced Health and Safety Management for Residential Managing Agents

TC124: Structural Risk Assessments and Management

The Building Safety Act 2022 and its secondary legislation requires those who are accountable for higher risk buildings to undertake an assessment of building safety risks, including those risks relating to structural failure. Structural risk assessments (SRA) are crucial for identifying and mitigating potential hazards that could compromise a building's structural integrity, ensuring safety and preventing costly repairs. Whilst SRAs are currently only legally required in higher risk buildings (HRBs) they are also beneficial for other buildings.
Intended For
The course is suitable for anyone who has a role in responding to, managing or overseeing building safety of high-rise properties in scope of the Building Safety Act 2022.
TC66: Introduction To Fire Safety For Property Managers

A 6-hour online course being be run over 2 consecutive days (3-hours per day). This course is provided for block managers looking to learn the basics of fire safety for residential buildings. It gives basic information for managing the fire risks of common parts of blocks of flats and delves in to the essential grounding of the Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order 2005.
At the end of this course, you will understand who is responsible for what and why in terms of fire safety and will have a basic knowledge of the changes happening in this all-important area of block management.
TC118: Taking On New Estates – New Site Mobilisation and Handovers

How a site is initially mobilised will develop the tone of management going forward. If not done correctly, the new agent will spend the initial period of management chasing information, which will hinder their effectiveness to manage the site. This in turn will potentially start the relationship with the new client, and leaseholders, off on the wrong foot. This three hour online training course looks to provide best practice for taking on and mobilising new sites.

TC1: Introduction to Residential Property Management

Who should attend?
This introductory course is ideal for those new to the sector with less than six month’s experience in residential property management and those moving from letting to residential leasehold management.
TC27: Procedural and Technical Issues of Section 20

Dates
8 - 9 December 2025
A 6-hour online course being be run over 2 consecutive days covering the requirements and procedures of Section 20 (qualifying works and qualifying long term agreements), exemptions, OJEU Public Notices and the growing body of Case Law.
Who should attend?
Property managers or assistant property managers with some experience of advising clients on and processing Section 20s.
It’s also useful for managers who would like a refresher on (or introduction to) the required procedures of Section 20
Those who would like to address the practical issues, problems and complications that can arise during and after the Section 20 procedure
